On 26 October 2026, Tokio Marine Insurance Vietnam Company Limited (TMIV) was granted Amendment License No. 65/GPĐC6/KDBH by the Ministry of Finance, revising and supplementing certain provisions of its Establishment and Operation License No. 65/GP/KDBH dated 1 July 2013.

Under the amended license, TMIV’s scope of business has been updated as follows:

•    Conducting non-life insurance business, including property insurance, marine cargo insurance, motor insurance, fire and explosion insurance, hull and carriers’ liability insurance, liability insurance, trade credit and financial risk insurance, agricultural insurance, guarantee insurance, and other classes of non-life insurance.

•    Conducting health insurance business with a term of one year or less, including health, personal accident, and medical expense insurance.

•    Conducting term life insurance business with a term of one year or less.

•    Accepting and ceding reinsurance in respect of the above-mentioned insurance classes.

This amendment aligns TMIV’s scope of business with the current regulatory framework while further strengthening the Company’s capability to provide insurance and reinsurance products and services to customers and business partners in Vietnam.

Amendment License No. 65/GPĐC6/KDBH forms an integral part of Establishment and Operation License No. 65/GP/KDBH dated 1 July 2013 issued by the Ministry of Finance. Except for the amendments and supplements expressly stated therein, all other provisions of License No. 65/GP/KDBH and previously issued amendment licenses granted to TMIV remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
