Based on common questions of the insured and actual problems encountered during the process of review in claims dossiers of health insurance submitted to TMIV in the past time, we would provide you with basic notes to support for the preparation of valid and accurate claims documents in line with regulations & TMIV’s guideline, while minimizing avoidable mistakes & speeding up claims settlement process of TMIV.

MEDICAL DOCUMENT | ACCOUNTING DOCUMENT |
| • The medical document (medical book, prescription…) need to show final diagnosis and treatment method by doctor. | • Original invoice/ receipt shall be required in claim dossier

| • Medicine prescription is required to fulfill with doctor’s signature and seal of hospital | • Red invoice are required in case of exceeding VND 200,000
|
| • Medicine prescription shall be valid within 5 days counting from the date on this document
| • Red invoice shall be issued within 30 days from date of treatment |
| • The medicine prescription shall be effective within 30 days of treatment, excluding some long treatment diseases (Ex: Cancer, Diabetes, Stroke…) | • Invoice/ receipt/ bill are required to fulfill with seal, signature, content... following Accounting Regulation

| • If any changes on medicine prescription, it’s required to have doctor’s signature to confirm.
| • Detail list of invoice shall be submitted to insured company together with invoice (with information: hospitalization expense, medicine, tests…) |
| • A proper medicine prescription does not include: a) Medicines, drugs not for b) Medicines are not permitted c) Functional foods d) Cosmetics • Sixat, humer, sterimar…are not medicine and shall be excluded from insured coverage | • Please kindly contact our team for further guideline in case of Electronical Invoice
