Dear our valued Clients/Business Partners,
We, Tokio Marine Insurance Vietnam, are grateful for your trust and continued support so far.
Facing with the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak which has been going on more serious and complicated nationwide and globally, we are pleased to inform you our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) as below. As informed by the landlord of our Hanoi office building that it will be closed until 1 March 2021 as requirement of Authority, we would like to announce our latest plan of Work From Home in accordance with this requirement.
During the BCP period, we are committed to maintain our service to the highest level of agreement with our clients and business partners while protecting and caring of our staff and the community.
1. Working-from-home:
We, Tokio Marine Insurance Vietnam Hanoi Head Office, will arrange for our employees to work from home from February 17, 2021 until March 1, 2021.
2. Way of communication:
Business for daily work as usual or ongoing projects will continued to be exchanged through email, phone or technology applications as an alternative for working on premise.

4. Claims Process:
We try to maintain claim services and settlement as best as we could. Soft copies of all claims documentation would be sent via email while hard copies would follow when our office comes back to normal.
However, during this challenging time, there might be a bit unexpected delay in our normal process and/or third party administrator or loss adjustors which is out of control. Therefore, we expect kind understanding and cooperation from our clients and business partners that we are trying our best to the commitment of providing highly responsive and professional service.
In order to ensure safety and security for our valued clients, partners, employees and the whole community, we highly appreciate your understanding and collaboration. We sincerely apologize for any unwanted inconvenience this may cause.

3. Insurance administration process:
- - Insurance Quotation: Quotation with scanned signature would be sent through e-mail. We accept email confirmation for temporary status, but we are still required by regulation to file a quotation duly signed and stamped which may be sent later when work process resume normal.
- - Insurance Policy & Certificate: Soft versions would be sent via email and hard copies would be followed when our office comes back to normal.
- - Insurance Card if any: The insurance card would be sent to clients along with other related hard copies when our office comes back to normal.
- - Premium Invoice: BVTM has been applying issuance of e-invoice system, hence there is no impact.
