The year 2021 has been gradually coming to the end with unforgettable memories to each of us. In fact, it has not been an easy year for everyone. The weight of the fourth wave of covid-19 has put a huge strain on lots of individuals, organizations, and businesses in Vietnam of various scales in different industries. 

However, despite various challenges in the context of the pandemic, we’ve still witnessed positive stories of strong solidarity, kindness, and resilience spirit in the whole community. It was during the challenging time that frontline medical staffs made tremendous efforts to save people’s lives against the death; the Government, individuals and businesses at all levels unanimously joined hands to fight against the pandemic with the nationwide covid-19 vaccination campaign, or the “production at site” campaign to ensure the maintenance of production activity in industrial zones…As the General Director of Tokio Marine Insurance Vietnam, I would like to express my deep thanks to all the organizations and individuals who have contributed to bring safety and security in Vietnam in the past time. 

2021 is also a special year for TMIV, the 25th anniversary in our journey to pursue our mission in Vietnam. As the first foreign-invested insurer in Vietnam since 1996, we have been sustainably growing thanks to the invaluable support and assistance from our customers, partners and all employees, gradually becoming a trusted partner of the business community through our insurance services with Japan Quality. In 2021, we also continued conducting our corporate social responsibility to partly contribute to the minimization of pandemic impact on local community through the project “Distant learning equipment for the disadvantaged students”. Wrapping up the challenging year 2021, I would like to deliver my sincere gratitude to all valued clients & partners for always being with us in our endless journey of trust.  

Looking forward to the year 2022, let’s join hand to continue building up a safe world where everyone has a healthy life both physically & mentally, and enjoying a happy life to the fullest. Hopefully, going through the pandemic, the business community would fully recover and become much more efficient by adapting and utilizing technology advancement for better productivity. As for TMIV, we will constantly strive to improve our insurance service quality and contribute to the sustainable development of local community.
