Addition of QR Code on Certificate of civil liability compulsory insurance for vehicle owners (Certificate) and issuance of Electronic Certificate

Dear Valued Clients,

We, Tokio Marine Insurance Vietnam Company Limited (“TMIV”), are grateful for your trust and continued support so far.

We are pleased to inform you that from the 4th of April 2022, TMIV will add a QR Code to Certificate of civil liability compulsory insurance for vehicle owners (Certificate). You and the authorities can scan the QR Code with the mobile phone's camera app to check the details of this Certificate on our Company's official website, https:///tokiomarine.com.vn.

We also implement issuing an E-Certificate instead of the current Certificate in hard-copy form and sending it to you through our email with TMIV’s email domain: ...@tokiomarine.com.vn. 

The E-Certificate of civil liability compulsory insurance for vehicle owners signed by the digital signature is as valid as the original copy with full legal validity complies with the regulations of the Law on E-Transactions and the guiding documents; the digital signature of TMIV has been certified and fully meet the legal conditions for digital signature and digital signature authentication.

However, we might still issue a hard copy (with wet signature and Company’s seal) of the digitally signed Certificate of civil liability compulsory insurance for vehicle owners upon your request subject to our proper arrangement from time to time.

TMIV would seek your corporation and support for the implementation of this new policy.
