Implement, follow-up and program core insurance system in accordance with business requirements. 
 

1. Maintaining and supporting core insurance system (COBOL language, SMART/400, STREAMSERVE…)

• Running daily, monthly & yearly batch jobs
• Providing data to other departments as requested
• Communicating with end-users, understanding users’ request and giving solutions
• Communicating with Managers, outsourced consultants in development, enhancement, or resolving core insurance system issues 
• Analyzing, designing, programming, promotion programs from developing environments to production environments following up IT processes and procedures and the Software Development Life Cycle
• Exploring, operating, developing core insurance application interfacing, front-end systems or Business Intelligence system

2. General IT help desk, and assigned tasks by superiors in IT troubleshooting and supporting.
 

• Knowledge: Knowledge of insurance products & proficiency in programming languages and database administrative to carry out the job taskk effectively;
• Result-oriented: be responsible and accountable for final result, actively manage the whole process to ensure expected outcomes;
• Initiative/ Project management: Ability to understand the principle, plan and organize a project and/or work task;
• Customer service: respect other’s opinion, flexible action in relation with others to have better relationship & trust;
• English: fluent.
