As part of TMIV’s 2026 sustainability initiatives, TMIV has successfully conducted a community outreach sharing session titled “Cybersecurity for Children” at Nguyen Du Secondary School, Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi. The session reached approximately 2,000 students aged 11 to 14, supporting their safe and responsible engagement in today’s digital environment.

With the internet playing an increasingly important role in students’ daily learning and communication, online risks are also rising, posing growing concerns for children’s mental health and personal safety. Recognizing these challenges, TMIV designed a comprehensive program aimed at equipping students with essential knowledge and practical skills to use the internet safely, responsibly, and with confidence.
Students actively participated in the case-study discussion
During the session, students were guided to identify common cybersecurity risks such as cyberbullying, scam links, misinformation, and other online threats. Through real-life examples, interactive discussions, and practical case studies, the program emphasized proactive self defense skills and encouraged students to think critically about their online behavior and decision-making.

The session generated strong engagement, with students actively participating, sharing experiences, and responding enthusiastically to interactive activities. The practical and relatable approach helped transform complex cybersecurity concepts into meaningful and accessible lessons for young learners.
The initiative was highly appreciated by the school’s teachers and management board, who recognized the program’s comprehensive content, effective delivery, and its relevance for children growing up in an increasingly digital and AI-driven world.
